Happy Easter

Lots of photos from Easter. The Easter bunny got their buckets ready before we left for PA! The girls had so much fun celebrating Easter and Nana and Pap Pap's. The chocolate and jelly beans were a major hit until Sawyer got jelly beans stuck in her teeth. She wasn't a fan of jelly beans after that! The Easter bunny surprised Syd with the Cinderella dress. She couldn't get the dress on fast enough. Nana had a good laugh about that one.

I have a ton of photos from our trip home. I am too tired and worn out to download them all tonight. I can't wait to post more pictures of Emma (and my girls holding their new baby cousin)and I have some cool photos of Jared riding his skateboard.

I am going to try to figure out why Blogger is making my photos look like crap after downloading them to the blog. Must make that a priority because I can't stand the fuzzy low res look of the photos.

Anyway, here are just a few images of the girls enjoying their Easter "bucket."
"somethings stuck in my teeth" she tells me as she digs the Jelly Beans out. Lovely!

Admiring her new dress. Bree dog wasn't impressed at all.

Before she saw the Cinderella Dress she was content to be wearing her Sleeping Beauty dress.

Happy Birthday Bethany!

15 years old? How can you be that old! Happy Birthday Bethany. We love you. Hope you are having fun at the school dance tonight!!

Emma Grace

Our beautiful new niece. We love you so much and can't wait to see you again.

Daddy's three baby girls...

all watched him drive away this morning...

Sawyer, Izzy dog and Sydney waved bye bye to Daddy a little while ago.

Ottoman

The girls approve of our new ottoman. Wonder how long it is going to take for them to toss one another off of it?? Note to self...must find a new area rug so they don't bump heads on the wood floor!

Memory Lane Part II

I was backing up my personal and business photos to my external hard drive yesterday and any time I do this I always take a walk down memory lane by looking at early photos of the girls.

This photo of Sydney was taken at a few weeks old. This little lady loved her sleep. She would wake up early in the morning and after being fed I would lay her down beside me and we would both take a morning nap until about 9:30 - 10 am. Those were the days when a tired mommy could sleep when baby slept! I still can't get over how golden brown her skin was. She still has the most amazing skin tone.

Sydney loved the outdoors. We spent lots of time outside.
My bright eyed Soybean.

I have always loved this photo of Sawyer. I don't know what draws me to it, but I love it so much.

This image made me smile when I found it yesterday. Kim and I had our babies about a week and a half apart. Kody and Sydney at just a few weeks old.

Taking care of baby

Sydney loves this little pea in a pod baby. She has never really had any kind of attachment to particular stuffed animals except for this baby. Poor Sawyer got an ear infections along with all of her molars coming in so she has been on an antibiotic. Sydney loves to watch me give Sawyer her medication and decided to play doctor with her little baby! She is so cute.

Back Turned...

I turned my back on my little lady for just a minute yesterday and this is what I found when I came back into the room...

Poor thing was so tired, she climbed on the couch and fell asleep. I hated waking her up, but it was too close to nappy time.

Friends Coming Over

Sydney and Sawyer love playdates. It has been so nice making new friends! Sydney gets so excited when I tell her that we are going to have visitors. She says "friends coming over" over and over again! Thanks for coming over to visit us today girls. We had so much fun. The cookies were yummy too!

Outside on the bikes

Bunches of pictures of the girls from the last few days. Sawyer loves her trike and Sydney LOVES her "new" bike. The bike helmet is still sitting in the back of the truck. I promise to put it on her! We have enjoyed every minute we have spent outside lately. This cold spell is the pits! Not sure what Blogger is doing to my photos, but they look terrible after I upload them to the site! Forgive the uploaded quality.

Spring Days

This weekend we spent as much time outside as possible to celebrate the spring weather. We got home from PA mid afternoon on Saturday and pretty much went straight to the park near our house. Yesterday we continued our bike search for Sydney. The guy at the store highly recommended that we get her a 16 inch. We originally wanted a 14 inch but she seemed to get around well on the 16 inch. Luckily, Jim's coworker had given us a 16 inch last year that sat up in the attic. Instead of buying a new one, we just bought training wheels and a helmet! Nice!!! Jim putting together last night and she did really well. No pictures from that, but below are a few pictures of them enjoying the fresh air from yesterday. Poor Sawyer is still battling her cold and 4 molars coming through. I think we are nearing the end of the teething - I am looking forward to having my happy (but still feisty) girl back. I wish teething didn't bother her as much as it does. Luckily, it will be a long time before any more teeth come in! Sydney is as anxious for her new baby cousin to come as I am. She still talks about the baby in aunt Jen's belly and how it is going to be born in the hospital any day now.
