This photo didn't make the Christmas card, but I love it.

Sweet girls.  I can't wait to make this Christmas extra special for them.  Lots of baking, crafting and family time! A few extra special gifts on Christmas morning! Can't wait!

Christmas Tree 2016

The girls were so excited to visit the tree farm to find the perfect Christmas tree!!! We decided to get our tree a week earlier than usual since the weather was pretty mild.

Jim spotted our tree within a few minutes of searching.  Our prettiest one yet! As usual, they look smaller and thinner on the farm.  Always in for a treat when we cut the bindings and let it fall!

 The wind was crazy down at the beach the day we were taking the photos.  So windy that they couldn't keep their eyes opened!!!  So much for my favorite boat photo!

Fall Pictures in our Mountains

Our visit to camp was amazing.  Even in the rain and wind.  The girls had so much fun hiking up and down the hill to the lake.  Dinner with our camp friends was a special treat too! Always nice seeing our friends during the off season.

The girls gave mommy some beautiful fall pictures in our woods at camp.  The fall colors were still so brilliant there.  Tons of red and yellow in our woods and the surrounding mountains.  Jim and I couldn't believe how colorful it still was.  We would have loved a boat ride, but Saturday was too rainy and Sunday the winds were creating huge whitecaps on the lake.  We had fun anyway! It was just so peaceful being there.  Jim had the woodstove cranking and the house got to 78 degrees!
