Total Opposites

I say it all the time, my girls are the complete opposites in so many ways!  They balance each other out.  Yin and Yang.

Sawyer was putting a big sticker on my arm and then yanking it off.  I was making a big yelping painful sound and she was laughing hysterically.  Yep, that's my girl.  She sure can dish it out, but she sure can't take it.  Teasing her means having to listen to lots of whining!

Happy Birthday Sawyer Molly

Ah, this girl.  This spirited, feisty, sweet, loving girl, turned 4 years old today!  She makes us laugh, she makes us crazy, she sometimes makes me wish I drank (haha), but most of all, she makes me so happy to be her mom.

We did our family celebration the other weekend, so tonight we had a small celebration for her.  After school this afternoon, I treated the girls to a "itty bitty" sundae at our favorite diner downtown.  Nana came over for a short time tonight to drop off a new movie (thanks Nana and Pap Pap) and to watch Sawyer open her gifts from Mommy, Daddy and Sydney.

I took her outside for a few pictures late this afternoon.  She wasn't amused with sitting on the cold rocks and being in the cold without her coat!

Brave toys.  She saw these at Target and asked for them.  Rarely do my kids ask for things, so I was happy to pick these up for her.  She was so excited when she opened the package.  She was so grateful tonight when we were tucking her in to bed.  She kept telling us thank you and saying that she didn't cover her eyes up when we sang "Happy Birthday" to her tonight!  Precious little girl!

 Her love of cake pops continues.  She always wants cake pops when I ask her what kind of treat she wants for her birthday.  I love making them for her!  Her expression when taking the first bite is priceless!

I forgot to take pictures of the balloons I got for Sawyer and Jared's birthdays.  Next day helium isn't so impressive to look at!

Now one of the balloons is 20 feet in the air!  Girls were playing with them and one of them broke off the string!  

Sawyer had pajama day at school on Thursday.  She was so excited.  Sydney's pj day was Friday but I forgot to take a photo!  Oops.

Sydney has two more molars popping through so she has been a little off lately.  Poor girl.

February Birthdays

Last weekend we celebrated Jared's 14th birthday and Sawyer Molly's 4th birthday.  The family was all together at our house for a double party!!!  Jared's birthday was on the 5th and Sawyer's is on the 12th, but last weekend was when everyone could be together.  Sawyer didn't mind celebrating early!  It just means two celebrations for her!

 My girls are weird about attention being drawn to them.  I am not sure why.  As you can see, Sawyer didn't like when we sang "Happy Birthday" to her - even though it was just her family!  Silly lady.
