Counting down

Hard to imagine, but I am already counting down the days until the girls and I move back to camp for the summer.  We are owed a super sunny and warm summer after this long, exhausting, freezing winter!

Bathing suits, swim caps, summer hiking shoes are all sitting in my closet ready to go!  Miss my NY mommy friends!  Love you ladies!  Can't wait to hang out!  Plan lots of visits up to the lake!

Still Here...just bored and lonesome

bored and lonesome....sigh.

thank goodness the girls keep me busy.  pool time, outside time when we can get out in between bad weather.

Syd finally lost her other front tooth.  I'm finally getting around to downloading pictures!  Ugh.

Hanging out in Sydney's room putting her tooth in the tooth pillow.
All she cared about was that she could still whistle!  So sweet.

Some outside fun.  I'm glad the snow if finally all melted.  The rain is making it soggy, but I'll take rain over snow!
Scootering, scootering and more scootering.  I was almost tempted to upgrade their cheap scooters for nicer ones since this seems to be their favorite thing to do (besides swimming) but then I checked out prices of upgraded scooters.  Yeah, no, Target ones will have to do for a while!

She wants to be....

Sydney wants to be a writer.  She makes me so proud.  School work doesn't always come easy for her but she tries and tries and never gives up.

Crazy Hair Day

Crazy Hair day at school was fun!  Especially because my kid has a lot of hair!

50 degrees...even for just a few days

50 degrees today, 56 tomorrow, 21 by Thursday.  Ugh!

We raced out to Target today to get more bubbles and more sidewalk chalk!  We dusted off their helmets and scooters and soaked up the sun and warmth for as long as we could.   Then they got a bubble bath to clean off all the mud and chalk!

Allowance day

I promised the girls a trip to Target on Friday night so they could spend their allowance money that they earned.  Of course they both wanted another Monster High doll!

I also surprised them with a trip to Sweet Frog.  Yummy treat!

Brain FREEZEEEEE!!!

Getting ready for summer....too early

I'm actually doing the prepare for summer tasks early because stuff is on sale, but man, it is killing me bringing this stuff in to my house while the weather is still so miserable!

Gymboree had swimsuits on sale so I bought two for each of the girls.  One with short sleeves and collar for each of them for the lake and then one regular suit for the pool.  We've been hitting the Y a lot lately to get back into swimming shape!  We love it.  I didn't get there as often this winter because of the frigid cold!

Sawyer loved her new swimsuit for the pool.  She insisted on trying it on and called herself a "gymnasticer" girl! I explained that she would be called a gymnast!
