Tree Removal and Wood Piles

We had to remove several trees from our property as we are steadily working on making our backyard a wonderful space.  We also had to have a very large tree removed from our front yard.  It was too large and too close to our house for our comfort.  The tree service company did a great job getting the trees down and the stumps removed.  Jim and Jared worked on removing the huge pieces of wood out of the front yard.  The girls pretended to help (hahaha).

 Big ass tree.
Ugh!  Heavy logs for a 4 year old!

Sydney was searching for bugs most of the time!

Reese Rene

Reesey Roo is turning 6 months old in a few days.  Jen and I took her to the local creek/park for a few pictures.  Daddy and Emma were busy playing while Jen and I were busy getting cute faces out of Reesey Roo.

She is so adorable and oh so sweet.

13 years!

Birthday party for Sydney on Saturday, Father's Day yesterday and our 13 year wedding anniversary today!

18 years together, 13 years married!

To many more years!

Sydney is turning 6

As we did last year, we celebrated Sydney's birthday a little early so that our families could celebrate with her before we move to camp for the summer.

Here are a few pictures from her day!  Thanks to our wonderful family for making her feel so special!

She is such a precious girl.  Always loving and kind hearted.  I can't believe she will be 6 in a few weeks!

Thanks goodness Target has affordable dolls that are not the same price as the "American Girl" doll.  My girl doesn't care, she loves her new Daisy doll so much!
 Her new puppy friend.
 Kisses for Emma G.
Reese is getting so big and she is the sweetest thing ever.
Grandma reading some books to the girls.
She hasn't let her new doll out of her hands for days now.

It got a little too loud for the teenage boy!
It is fun seeing Emma playing with Sydney and Sawyer's toys.  She is old enough to be playing among all the little toys/objects.

Playdate

Sydney had two of her school friends (and bus buddies) over for another pizza and movie night.  We didn't end up watching much of the movie because it was far too nice outside to be stuck inside (and it got really noisy with 4 little girls in the house)!

4 little shadows...

Playing

I'm overwhelmed with getting stuff ready for our summer at camp.  Hence the reason I haven't blogged much lately.

I don't know why I scheduled so many appointments just before I leave for the summer!  Dentist appts, hair appts, playdate with Syd's friends, birthday celebration, registration for school, the list goes on and on!

Here are some recent pictures of the girls enjoying outside time. Anytime we can get, we are outside playing.  Water and dirt are their favorites when they aren't scootering or biking.

How did my little baby get so big?
 Watch out for my camera!

Saying goodbye to age 5 and excited to turn 6!!!!

Just some snaps

Outside time has been iffy lately.  The weather has been obnoxiouos.  Just some snaps from outside time lately.

Izzy stole the mostly empty peanut butter container out of the recycling bin and went to town licking the last little bit out of the jar.  Silly old girl.
Bubbles and bike helmets.

Dolls

My girls aren't huge doll baby fans, but Sydney does love her ballernina Melissa and Doug dolls.  She was playing so nicely at quiet time one afternoon so I went up to see her and she asked me to take pictures of her dolls.
