Emma Turns 5 Years Old!!!

Sweet Emma G turned 5 years old. We had a fun day celebrating with her this weekend.  The girls played, ate, played, ate... Thanks to Jen and Cory for a fun party and delicious lunch.  Jen outdid herself with all of the Little Mermaid touches!

Random iphone pix

I didn't take the big camera with me to the ski slopes while we were in VT.  Her are just a few random shots of the girls skiing with Papa.

Swimming at Papa's condo.  It is a tradition!

Gondola ride with Papa to the top of the mountain!

A few weeks ago we took a quick road trip to Hershey to see Ted perform in the orchestra.  We were right at the Hershey lodge, so we had to stop at Chocolate World! Needless to say, the girls had an awesome time making their own chocolate bar and taking a chocolate tour.  They especially loved the 4D movie.  Awesome job to Ted on his performance and an awesome time at the chocolate factory!

Big Girl bakers

The girls were baking together last week.  I barely did anything.  From start to finish, almost all by themselves.  Such big girls!

Snow fishing then swimming

No big camera photos lately.  Just iphone ones.  Ugh.

No joke, spring in the Northeast can be so confusing.  We spent last weekend swimming in the small lake not far from home.  The weekend before, we took the girls to the same lake for the first day of youth fishing season.  It had just snowed that morning.  Yeah, confusing.  The girls didn't care.

Two weeks ago in the chilly, snowy weather.

This past weekend in the 70+ degree weather.

Izzy Girl

We put old girl Izzy to sleep last Friday.  Still so sad about the whole situation but at peace with our decision.  She was 14 years old and still the sweetest dog ever.  Her pain and suffering was getting too much for all of us to watch.  She started loosing bodily functions towards the end.  It was her time.

Rest in Peace and in no more pain, sweet Isabelle.  We loved you something fierce!
