So the girls, Daddy, and I went to Barnes and Nobles the other week and as we were checking out, the girls both caught sight of these cards.
I'll give you one guess as to which card caught Sydney's attention and which one caught Sawyer's attention...
I always say it, these girls are night and day, day and night, yin and yang. I am forever grateful that their differing personalities create such a special bond between them and always keep us laughing!

Easter Fun
We had a great Easter. The family came to our house for lunch and all the little girls had a fun afternoon searching for candy filled eggs in the yard.
The girls were up early on Easter morning and were excited to go through their baskets. I kept telling the girls that mommy wanted to surprise them with a few things since they have worked so hard in school and at swim team this school year.
Mommy and Daddy treated the girls to some new hot/cold hydro flasks for soups or other foods for their lunch boxes, some fun (but practical) body and lip care products, summer pj's, and a cookbook they both wanted.
They were excited to see that the Easter Bunny ate all of his treats.
Sydney was excited for the next two books in her new favorite series. Sawyer obviously couldn't wait to start reading her new book!
The cousins raced round the yard in search of all of the melting chocolate! Ha. Who knew this Easter would be so warm!
Way too many chocolate filled eggs. Next year the adults need to coordinate this plan a little bit better! All of Jim's staff benefited from all the extra chocolate candy!

baking with my girls
I really love watching these two bake! I imagine that they will be baking from start to finish all on their own in a very short time.
