Her first tooth!

My baby lost her first tooth last week!  I have to remind myself that she is 5 years old and this is the same age Sydney was when she started losing her teeth!  It is so fun watching the girls go through this stage.  Two days after Sawyer lost her first tooth, I was yanking Sydney's 7th tooth out!  The tooth fairy is going a bit crazy at this household!

Bethany's Graduation!

We celebrated Bethany's high school graduation this weekend.  Jess and Kevin set up a nice party at mom and dad's and we enjoyed the beautiful sunny warm day!  I'm still in shock that the first baby of this family is graduating from high school!  She is a beautiful young lady and we want only the best for her.  We have loved watching her grow up these last 18 years.  Amazing!

We didn't have time to do an offical graduation picture so a backyard party picture will have to do!

Flower Power

Jim bought me a macro lens for Christmas.  I love it as both a portrait lens and macro lens.  I wish I knew more about macro photography but I will keep practicing until I get the hang of it.  The iris flowers in our yard are in full bloom.  I tried some macro shots.  This is my favorite.

Mother's Day

Hope my family and friends had a wonderful Mother's Day.  Jim cooked me a wonderful breakfast and got me my favorite coffee.  The girls showered me with homemade school projects (best gifts ever) and then we took a picnic lunch to a beautiful local dam and enjoyed playing in the water and sand!

I asked the girls to give me the gift of cooperation tonight for pictures.  They were beyond exhausted from our busy day and no naps, but they gave me such wonderful pictures that I will cherish always!

Here are a few from tonight.  Local apple orchard with trees in bloom.

Love being their mommy.

E.A.S.E.L

A few weeks ago Sydney got to participate in a school event that allowed kids to express themselves through art, literature entertainment, etc.  I thought it would be a really fun for Sydney to show off her love of painting.  She is such a quietly confident kid so I knew that she would thrive in this kind of setting.  She was so proud to display her paintings and was also so kind to other kids at the event telling them that their projects were very nice.

So proud of my girl.  She worked hard and enjoyed her time.  I'm guessing this will be an annual event!

More Emma and Reese Day pix

Day at Aunt Jody's House

Sawyer and I enjoyed spending the day with Emma and Reese last week at our house.  Sydney was anxious to get home from school that afternoon so she could also spend time with her cousins!

Emma is in the midst of potty training so I figured it would be easiest to bring toys from the basement playroom up to the front living room.  I also figured having doors to this room might come in handy should Mia decided to "bug" the girls.

We had such a fun day!

Emma's Birthday Party

Emma had an awesome birthday celebration a few weeks ago.  Her mommy knows how to plan a fun party!!!

A few photos of the littles having fun with presents and cake!

The little girls

Just two quick picture of all the littlest girls hanging out.  I got to watch my two little nieces the other day and we had so much fun.  I'll post many more photos from our day.

She fought hard

We lost Jim's mom this morning.  She fought a long and hard battle with cancer.  A true testament to the strong woman she was.  We love you dearly and we will miss you always.
