Saturday morning I left camp to head back home to get ready to shoot a wedding. My cell rings shortly before I arrive home. Jim tells me that Sawyer was climbing on her stroller and she cracked her chin opened on the wood floors. Luckily our midwife was at camp visiting her family, so she stopped by to check her out.
Jim wound up taking both of the little ladies to the ER so they could stitch the poor thing up. Sawyer barely cried when she fell, but Jim said she was screaming when the stitches were put in. He said he was almost in tears himself. I felt like such a terrible mommy for not being there, but thankful it was a minor issue.
Here are some photos of her chin. My tough little cookie.
