So I tried to do a photo a day for daddy each day....that lasted for all of three days. I took plenty of photos...I just didn't get them on the computer or on the blog. Oh well.
I had photo sessions scheduled for Saturday but unfortunately the weather caused me to reschedule those. I shot a wedding with Steve today so Daddy had a fun time hanging out with the girls.
We are excited to announce that we found a house in PA. Jim and the realtor went through it once and then my dad went with Jim a second time. I will see it next weekend. I know most people think I am crazy for not seeing it first, but we wanted to get an offer in quickly as the price just dropped and there was an open house schedule there today. I am not the least bit concerned as I trust Jim. We have the same taste. The house is far larger than what we are used to, but the nicely finished basement will be such a huge thing for us. We need more play space for the girls. They are going to freak out when they see all the space they have to play. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths upstairs- master, jack and jill between what will be the girls' rooms and then a 3rd one in the bonus room above the garage (what will be the older kids' room and guest space). There is a 4th full bathroom downstairs in the finished basement along with a 5th bedroom (kind of ridiculous with all of the bathrooms). I have designated that basement bedroom as Jim's "mancave". He thought it was a great idea. He will set up his gun safe and hunting stuff down there plus he will have room to stow all of his fishing gear.
It isn't a sure thing that we will get it because there is always a chance that a better offer will come in and then we would have the 48 hour contingency. Clearly we wouldn't be able to do anything about that. I just hope that it doesn't come to that.
We have two showings on this house this week. Keep fingers crossed for us.
