Newly renovated space

It has been 3.5 years since we moved to this house and I finally feel like it is becoming our own.  Our family room lighting isn't the brightest.  The way the house is positioned and the fact that the house is so deep, creates a bit of a dark zone in this space.  Jim finally saw my point about taking the unattractive fireplace out and replacing it with a double hung window.  He worked on the project this summer while the girls and I were at camp.  After the project was done, we then had to rearrange the seating and TV wall.  We needed a big entertainment center to fill a very long, very blank wall.  We found several inspirations for designs on Pinterest.  We found one that we especially loved and worked with a custom kitchen company to design a similar one for our space.  We are so happy with how the new space and entertainment center has turned out.
