We spent a beautiful fall long weekend at the lake. The leaves were still so beautiful. We spent most of the weekend cleaning the new property of low branches, chain sawing an old sailboat dock, cleaning up sticks and raking leaves. Jim wanted to show me what a beautiful vision he has for a patio on the lower part of the lot, near the dock. Under shaded trees that would provide a perfect spot for getting out of the sun. Lots of family time, lots of yummy food (that I prepped and froze before travelling) and lots of doggy walks and swims. We were all tired after the weekend. Dreaming of new memories that we will be creating.
The pups did a lot of running and dock jumping into the freezing cold water.
The fall colors at the lake were still so bright.
