I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream
The other day Jimmy and I caught an episode of "Throwdown with Bobby Flay" on the Food Network. The woman he was competing with owns an ice cream shop not far past Saratoga Springs so Jim wanted to check it out! Yesterday was the perfect day for a big ice cream sundae, so we packed up and drove (longer than necessary) for ice cream. Little did we know that the one town we needed to drive through was having a parade. It was total gridlock, so we decided to get out of the car and watch the end of the parade. The girls loved it. They watched the marching bands, horses and firetrucks drive by. They also loved having candy thrown their way! After we got back in the car, we were able to cross the bridge and found our way here!

Had to get a picture of the Bobby Flay sign!
Soybean devoured the shared sundae while Sydy took a few bites and decided she was satisfied.

Say hello to my yummy sundae. Hidden under all of those nuts and whip cream was a very delicious ice cream and homemade brownie. I couldn't finish it...yes, you heard that, I didn't finish it. It was a little too big but oh so yummy
On another note, it was super busy there because some of the parade attendees started to pile in. We made it just in time before the line got huge. I overheard several people talking about visiting this ice cream shop after they watched the "Throw Down" episode. Pretty fun!
