Roses and hearts

Way too few pictures these last few months.  My poor camera is collecting dust during this winter. Here are just a few photos from the last few weeks.

It was always a tradition for my dad to buy us a little Valentine's Day gift.  I've carried that tradition on in our family too.  Jim gives the girls a little treasure for heart day.

Enjoying some much needed (and barely ever) downtime.  Swim team has kept these girls super busy since early fall. We really appreciate a down day when we have one.  Looking forward to a relaxing, quiet, less busy spring season.
Sawyer was the only one in the family that got the stomach bug this year.  Two days of barely any eating.  You know Sawyer is sick when she can't even eat.  Pretty much her favorite thing to do is eat! Poor girl was so sad to miss her buddy's birthday party.

The girls enjoyed working on a school robot project.  We collected items that would normally be recycled and created a fun robot with those items.  I figured this would be a fun project for Daddy to do with the girls, but I ended up enjoying it as much as Daddy and the girls did.  It was fun finding inspiration pictures and then watching the girls plan and create their robots to share at school.

Goofy dog and goofy girls playing before getting ready for swim practice.

We love books.  Sawyer was trying to figure out which books to order for the next Scholastic order!
Doggies begging way too early for their dinner.  Old girl Izzy is still hanging on.  She is going to be 14 years old in a few days.  Sweet old girl is suffering, but we are doing our best to keep her comfy and happy.
