Christmas Tree Farm Fun

We had a beautiful late afternoon at the tree farm searching for another BIG tree.  We found several beautiful ones but settled on a very tall, chubby one.  Who knew then that we would lose two feet of the tree because of a broken branch or that our heavy duty tree stand couldn't manage this beast of a tree!!!! After much trouble, we were able to get the tree into a new stand. It is a beautiful tree, just not as tall as it was when we chopped it down! We are excited to decorate it this weekend!

Every year, for as long as I can remember, Sydney trips over a stump and gets covered in mud.  It's a tradition.  Sawyer fell this year but she was too fast to get up before I could snag a picture.  Sneaky little girl!
