We just had the best fall night! We went to our neighbor's farm this evening and took a haunted hayride. It was such a blast. We have been to the farm often during the day to play, but we never took an evening hayride. The girls had so much fun. They loved looking at the lighted Halloween decorations. I am glad they don't realize Halloween is "scary." They were so excited to see all of the artwork and decorations. They were most excited about the apple cider and donut that they got to snack on half way through the ride.
We were admiring the stars in the sky as we were heading back to the car. Sawyer was so enthralled with them. She layed in my arms and just looked up at the sky. It was a precious moment. I think she and I will have to take a nighttime walk some night just to go star gazing.
I think Sydney will be talking about the hayride for days!
Off to camp tomorrow to take the boat out of the water. It is going to be a sad day for the B family. Boat comes out and the cold weather begins. We might try to take a quick boat ride before we park it : ( So sad.
