Yesterday I dropped Sydney off to school but ended up staying to be the parent helper that day. The Mommy that was supposed to help had a sick child and couldn't come in. I was happy to help and had a lot of fun playing with the kids and watching Syd interact with her new classmates. Her class is huge! The parent helper really is necessary! I didn't stop moving (not that I stop at home with Soybean). I enjoyed watching Sydy engage also. She did great with her colors and circle/reading/singing time. She chowed her snack faster than any other kid!!! Go figure. She did have a small accident which really infuriated me. I think she is trying to hold it, but isn't very successful. She was in the middle of working with her teacher on colors and probably didn't want to stop. I am getting very tired of the piddles and small accidents. But, I will try to be calm about it. Instead, I focused on how good she was at school and how she listened and sat and played. Her class is 14 boys and only 4 girls! Too funny. Hopefully she can keep up with the crazy boys!
Soybean had a great time playing with all of the big kids too. She is running a fever and has been for the last two days. Her teeth are really bothering her but she managed to have a good time and actually enjoyed the circle time too.
Tonight is the preschool pizza night. Should be fun.
